Trail of Thabor

Come and take part in the Trail du Thabor: 32 km: 1960 d+/-. Exceptional scenery along the way, in the heart of the Natura 2000 area.

You start this trail by climbing the Vallon des Marches for a passage to the Lac de Roche Noire (2535m) and then you descend to the Lauza by a rather steep path. You go back to the Refuge of Terre Rouge (refueling) panoramic view on Terre Rouge. Then you continue towards the Great Lakes (more than 25 lakes in the area). You go to Glacier Lake with views of Mount Thabor and Lake Curtalès. Lunar landscape. Highest point 2700m. Then you start your descent towards Lac Vert. After a last raid you will go down the track of Combe Orsière and the path of butterflies. Open big eyes they are all around you! Arrive at the bucolic area of Lières (must see!), You go back towards the center of the station.
